SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

We played Pollard last Saturday evening in Cusack Park in the 2nd round of the Championship.The 1st half was a total one sided affair as the scoreline suggests and in a very dominant display by our lads which included 3 goals .Niall got a brace of goals the 1st the score of the match when he found the top corner of the net from long range and our other goal came from Dean Slevin.With a large number of points to add we were full value for our big lead at the break 3-13 to 0-7.With the result of the match in no doubt we got very complacent for the 1st 15 minutes of the 2nd half with scores hard to come by but we finished out the match well enough and started the scoreboard ticking over again to run out very easy winners on the evening.
