CTG 1-22, Turin 3-22

We travelled to Killucan last Saturday evening to play Turin in the penultimate round of the Championship. The 1st half was a close encounter, but Turin hit the net twice in the half to help them to a 3-point lead at the interval, 2-9 to 0-12. We got back into the contest in the first 5 minutes of the half; however, our opponents hit the net again and, with a flurry of points, took a big lead with 15 minutes left. We responded with a goal from Rory and were unfortunate not to get another couple of goals, but Turin held on well for a 6-point win. We play Cullion in the last round, where a win is needed to get us to a semi-final.
