CTG 0-15, Raharney 0-24

We faced Raharney in Round 4 of the Championship on Sunday evening. Raharney started the stronger and raced into an early lead before Niall O’Brien opened our account from a free. David O’Reilly followed with a point from play, while Niall O’Brien added two more as we tried to close the gap. Raharney continued to keep the scoreboard moving, but two points from Shane Clavin and another from Jack Gallagher before the break left us trailing 0-14 to 0-7 at half time. Niall O’Brien opened our scoring in the 2nd half from a free, but Raharney continued to add to their tally. Shane Clavin kept us in touch with another point from play before a strong finish saw Jack Gallagher hit three points, with Mick Heeney also getting on the scoresheet. Raharney had built up too much of a lead, however, and ran out 0-24 to 0-15 winners.
