U20 CHAMPIONSHIP
Raharney 3-19 CTG 3-12
We travelled to Joristown last Tuesday evening for ths Semi Final of the championship.We opened the scoring with a free in the 1st minutes but the match took a drastic turn for us for the next 20 as we failed to register a score had a lot of wides and our opponents hit 10 points in this period to give them a comprehensive lead.We replied with a few scores before the interval however Raharney found the net with 5 left to leave them 1-10 to 7 up at the break.We started the 2nd half well hit 3 good points and lively Sub Mikey found the net to put us right back in the match.Raharney got 3 points and then a brilliant goal from Neale left the game in the melting pot with 15 left.However our opponents had a good 10 minute spell and regained a lead but another goal from Mikey gave us a glimmer of a chance but Raharne closed out the match with 1-2 to run out winners.We thank all the players and mentors who put in a great few weeks in this competition and were unlucky not to go further..Team ..Daire Fagan,James Connolly, David O Malley, Dylan Drake ,Sean Clarke,Peter Murphy,Paddy Maloney,Killian Jackson,Eoin Carey,Adam Clarke,Sean Jackson,Neale Pierson, Adam Cassidy, Dylan Corrigan,Philip Reynolds..Subs Used Mikey Divine and Rory Quinn
