We were in Cusack last Sunday to play Raharney in the final round of the Championship in a winner take all tie.The 1st half was a tight encounter with Raharney playing with the breeze we got the all important score in the half with a well taking goal from Conor Murphy after a great team move.Both teams exchanged point for the rest of the half and we were up at the break 1-8 to 8.We always held on to our lead in the 1st 20 minutes of the 2nd half and in the last 10 minutes we hit the net twice in the space of 2 minutes the 1st and great goal from Niall and the 2nd a long range shot from Johnny which dropped in over the goalies head it helped us run out easy winners .This win puts us straight into the final where we await the winners of Lough Lene Gaels and Raharney in 5 weeks time.
